One of those days

The Headmaster has locked himself in the laboratory this afternoon. One wonders what happens on those days when the simplest of things - say, a journal entry - seem to take hours. When students forget how to write a date properly. When they forget how to spell the word "T-H-E". When, with pencil in hand, they ask the teacher "how do I erase this?"

Sometimes you just need to begin class by saying "Good morning students. This is a pencil...."

Let's talk about the colored pencil collection to the student's right - is that, like, a special case to display them? I've got colored pencil envy!

ok sooooo cap plating...I was told it was the process of laying 2x4's on the top beam of the walls in the house. You overlap the seems of the pre-fab walls and it connects them all. There were many times I was left straddling and shimmying. This is also the base for the trusses.

Oh yeah! Cap Plating! Now I get it. When I did cap-plating with Habitat, they'd always make me lap the butt-joints. What people won't do for Habitat. Oh, the Humanity...

Those pencils? I just rented them for that photo shoot. I rented the kids too, but they wouldn't take them back.

Seriously, its a crayola 64-pencil set, with stand. Wish they had that kinda stuff when I was a kid. 'Cuz I coulda lost them all REAL quick. But nooooo, we had to make our own paint using crushed bark...
